COUNCIL MINUTES March 9, 2009 <br /> APPROVED <br /> 1 CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> ' 2 MINUTES <br /> 3 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br /> 4 <br /> 5 DATE : March 9, 2009 <br /> 6 TIME STARTED : 6:30 p.m. <br /> 7 TIME ENDED : 7:40 p.m. <br /> 8 MEMBERS PRESENT : Council Members Gallup, Reinert, and Mayor <br /> 9 Bergeson <br /> 10 MEMBERS ABSENT : Council Members Stoltz and O'Donnell <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Staff members present: City Administrator, Gordon Heitke; City Attorney, Joseph Langel; City <br /> 13 Engineer, Jim Studenski; Public Safety Director, Dave Pecchia; and City Clerk, Julie Bartell <br /> 14 <br /> 15 PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> 16 <br /> 17 There was no one present for public comment. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 SETTING THE AGENDA <br /> 20 <br /> 21 The agenda was reviewed and amended to remove (postpone) Items 8A and 8B and move Item <br /> 22 6B to be considered after the Consent Agenda. Item 6A had been withdrawn from the agenda. <br /> 23 <br /> __24 SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br /> 25 <br /> 26 A pen set was presented to City Administrator Gordon Heitke. On behalf of the City of Lino <br /> 27 Lakes, the Mayor offered thanks to Mr. Heitke for his five years of service and acknowledged his <br /> 28 contributions. Mr. Heitke thanked the council for the opportunity to serve the city. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Council Member Reinert moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Council Member Gallup <br /> 33 seconded the motion. Motion carried. Council Members O'Donnell and Stoltz were absent. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 ITEM ACTION <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Consideration of Expenditures: <br /> 38 i) March 9, 2009 (Check No. 85168 through 85243), <br /> 39 $138,465.41; Approved <br /> 40 ii) Centennial Fire District(Check No. 3638 through <br /> 41 3646), $8,262.90 Approved <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Approval of February 18, 2009 Special Work Session <br /> 44 Minutes Approved <br /> 45 <br /> 1 <br />
