CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 17-150 RESOLUTION CALLING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT HEARING FOR THE WEST SHADOW LAKE AREA STREET AND UTILITY PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 17-135 adopted by the council on November 27, 2017, a report amendment has been prepared by WSB & Associates, Inc., with reference to the West Shadow Lake Area Street and Utility Project, to include the making of improvements for the installation of sanitary sewer and watermain, and WHEREAS, this report amendment was received by the council on December 11, 2017, and WHEREAS, the report amendment provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost effective, and feasible. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Cou ncil of the City of Lino Lakes: 1. The council will consider such improvements for the West Shadow Lake project area in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for a portion of the cost of the sanitary sewer and watermain improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 and at an estimated total cost of the improvements of $1,577,268.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 22 day of January, 2018 in the council chambers of the city hall at 7:00 p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 11th day of December, 2017.
