<br /> <br /> <br />• On June 7th the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department hosted our annual Night to Unite <br />Roundtable in preparation for the upcoming Night to Unite that will take place on August 1, <br />2017. <br />• On June 19th the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department hosted a “Wills for Heroes” event at Fire <br />Station #2. This event is sponsored by the Minnesota State Bar Association in appreciation for <br />the daily sacrifices of firefighters, police officers and other first responders. The program offers <br />free Wills, Health Care Directives and Financial Powers of Attorney to Minnesota’s first <br />responders and their spouses. <br />• Engine 11 and Engine 21 were put into service on June 21, 2017. These pieces of apparatus are <br />2017 Custom Fire Quick Attack engines with 1250 gallons per minute pumps on 2017 Ford F650 <br />chassis. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />• Three members of the Public Safety staff have completed training and are now certified to <br />perform child seat inspections and vehicle installations. A child seat safety clinic was held on <br />June 28th. There will be another clinic held in the fall and individual appointments can be made <br />by scheduling an appointment with a Community Service Officer. <br />• On Thursday, June 29th the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department participated in a special parade <br />at the Centennial Middle School.
