COUNCIL MINUTES July 10, 2017 <br />1 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES 1 <br />MINUTES 2 <br /> 3 <br />DATE : July 10, 2017 4 <br />TIME STARTED : 6:30 p.m. 5 <br />TIME ENDED : 8:10 p.m. 6 <br />MEMBERS PRESENT : Council Member Rafferty, Kusterman, Maher, 7 <br /> Manthey, and Mayor Reinert 8 <br />MEMBERS ABSENT : none 9 <br /> 10 <br />Staff members present: City Administrator Jeff Karlson; Director of Public Safety John Swenson; 11 <br />City Planner Katie Larsen; City Engineer Diane Hankee; and City Clerk Julie Bartell 12 <br /> 13 <br />There was a moment of silence in honor of Public Works employee David Lichtscheidl, who passed 14 <br />away on July 9. The Mayor and Administrator Karlson offered condolences and gratitude for the fine 15 <br />work provided by Mr. Lichtscheidl. 16 <br /> 17 <br />PUBLIC COMMENT 18 <br /> 19 <br />No one was present to address the council regarding a matter not on the agenda. 20 <br /> 21 <br />SETTING THE AGENDA 22 <br /> 23 <br />The agenda was approved as presented. 24 <br /> 25 <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATION 26 <br /> 27 <br />The 2017 Lino Lakes Ambassadors and 2018 Ambassador candidates introduced themselves to the 28 <br />council and presented a parade award for display at city hall. 29 <br /> 30 <br />CONSENT AGENDA 31 <br /> 32 <br />Council Member Maher noted her concern that Aspen Contracting (Item 1H) has been aggressively 33 <br />soliciting business door-to-door, apparently without a license. City Clerk Bartell said that staff will 34 <br />make note of the situation in the license file for future license consideration. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items 1A through 1H, as presented. 37 <br />Council Member Maher seconded the motion.
