COUNCIL MINUTES July 10, 2017 <br />4 <br />Council Member Kusterman moved to approve payment to CNH Architects as recommended. 130 <br />Council Member Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote – Mayor Reinert 131 <br />voted no. 132 <br /> 133 <br />PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT 134 <br /> 135 <br />4A) Consider Donation of Fire Equipment to Centennial Fire District – Public Safety 136 <br />Director Swenson explained the extra equipment that he recommends be donated. The city received 137 <br />this equipment during the distribution of assets when the city split from the Centennial Fire District, 138 <br />who has already used this on two occasions for training purposes. The current cost value of the 139 <br />equipment is $592. The apparatus that the CFD currently uses and used previously is the correct 140 <br />attachment size. 141 <br /> 142 <br />Council Member Manthey moved to approved the donation of equipment as recommended. Council 143 <br />Member Kusterman seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 144 <br /> 145 <br />PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT 146 <br /> 147 <br />There was no report from the Public Services Department. 148 <br /> 149 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT 150 <br />6A) NorthPointe 6th Addition 151 <br />i. Consider 2nd Reading of Ordinance No. 05-17, Vacating Drainage & Utility Easements (Outlot 152 <br />D, NorthPointe 5th Addition) 153 <br />ii. Consider Resolution No. 17-58 Approving PUD Final Plan/Final Plat 154 <br />iii. Consider Resolution No. 17-59 Approving Development Agreement 155 <br />City Planner Larsen reviewed a PowerPoint outlining the project details: 156 <br />- 15 lots; temporary cul-de-sac; 157 <br />- Phasing Plan (this is 6th addition); 28 units remaining after this phase; 158 <br />- Public Land decisions (15 park dedication units); 159 <br />- Planning and Zoning Board review and approval; 160 <br />- Review of requested resolutions. 161 <br />Council Member Rafferty looked at the map of the project and asked questions about the new roadways. 162 <br />It was clarified that this will not be a direct connection to Cedar. 163 <br /> 164 <br />Mayor Reinert asked if there is a map available of what the development looked like from the onset; he 165 <br />thought it was five phases originally. Ms. Larsen explained that the phasing came through a little 166 <br />differently but there are no more units added nor any change to lot size; the preliminary plat has 167 <br />remained accurate. She clarified that the park is under construction. 168
