COUNCIL MINUTES July 10, 2017 <br />6 <br />6C) Consider Resolution No. 17-63 Approving Preliminary Plat for Houle Addition – City 212 <br />Planner Larsen reviewed her written staff using a PowerPoint presentation: 213 <br />- A map showing the location and outlining proposed development; 214 <br />- A preliminary plat of Lot 1; 215 <br />- History of the property (the late Mr. Vaughn was owner and received approval but it was not 216 <br />recorded); there was an island project proposed also; 217 <br />- One unit of park dedication fee. 218 <br /> 219 <br />Mayor Reinert recalled the history of the area. The original developer wasn’t able to put a 220 <br />development fully together before he passed. The land is high and buildable and will probably be 221 <br />discussed again in the future. 222 <br /> 223 <br />Council Member moved to approve Resolution No. 17-63 as presented. Consider Resolution No. 17-67 Approving Development Agreement 231 <br /> 232 <br />City Planner Larsen reviewed a PowerPoint presentation: 233 <br />- Aerial map showing the project; 234 <br />- Spliting a one-acre lot into four acres; 235 <br />- A nearly split occurred recently; 236 <br />- The plat itself with roadway dedication was reviewed; 237 <br />- Stormwater plans; 238 <br />- Park dedication on new lots; 239 <br />- Variances: 1) lot size reductions to varying sizes; 2) reduced lot depth; 3) lot width on third 240 <br />property; (same variances were approved for other developments in the area) 241 <br />- Resolutions were reviewed. 242 <br /> 243 <br />Mayor Reinert noted the variances and the history of past consideration. 244 <br /> 245 <br />Council Member Maher asked for clarification on the previous developments in the area. 246 <br /> 247 <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 17-64 as presented.
