<br /> <br /> <br />• Fire and Police departments will be consulted to provide input about any impacts they <br />may have experienced. Field observations and or discussions may also be conducted with <br />transit, waste disposal, and other service providers to ensure that services provided to the <br />residents are not significantly impacted. <br /> <br />If the objectives are satisfied as evidenced in the evaluation, no further actions will be taken. If <br />objectives are not met, City staff may prepare alternatives and seek direction from the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />Removal of Traffic Control Measure: <br />Should the residents desire to remove the alternative traffic calming devices after evaluation <br />results indicate the program objectives were satisfied, 90% of the residents living on the affected <br />street would have to sign a petition for removal. A recommendation by City staff to remove the <br />traffic calming device(s) will require the approval of the City Council. Any associated cost for <br />the removal of the traffic calming device(s) not justified by the project goals and objectives will <br />be fully borne by the residents.
