5 <br /> <br /> <br />Final Plat Extension <br /> <br />In April 2017, Council approved Resolution No. 17-32 extending the final plat submittal <br />deadline to December 13, 2017. Mattamy Homes has requested another final plat extension to <br />June 2018 as detailed in Resolution No. 17-96. <br /> <br />Next Steps <br /> <br />Council approval of the Land Use Plan amendment and the lot sizes is critical for Lennar to <br />move forward on the development of Watermark. If approved, Lennar will proceed to Step 2 to <br />modify architectural design standards for possibly both the single family homes and <br />townhomes. The final Step 3 will be submittal of PUD Final Plan/Final Plat. To address <br />Council’s concerns regarding phasing of the development, Lennar intends to submit a first <br />phase final plat containing substantially more land and units than originally proposed. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />The Planning & Zoning Board held a public hearing on September 13, 2017. There were no <br />public comments. The Planning & Zoning Board voted 6-0 in favor of amending the Land Use <br />Plan. The Board and staff recommend approval of amending the Land Use Plan of the PUD <br />Development Stage Plan for Watermark subject to the conditions listed in Resolution No. 17- <br />95. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
