<br /> <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 17-116 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A TRAFFIC POLICY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has a Traffic Safety Committee comprised of staff from the <br />Engineering, Community Development, Public Services and Public Safety departments, that <br />reviews traffic related issues; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee recommended establishing Traffic Policy of uniform <br />process and procedures for evaluating speed, safety and signage requests based on the Minnesota <br />Manual Of Uniform Traffic Control Devices; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the policy will provide improved communication and methods for addressing <br />traffic related requests. The policy will also aid in educating those not familiar with traffic <br />guidelines and regulations. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes here by <br />approves the Traffic Policy. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of October, 2017. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_______________and was duly seconded by Council Member ________________ and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br />_______________________________ <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk
