Consider Resolution No. 16-67 approving PUD <br />Development Stage Plan and Preliminary Plat <br /> <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />Staff is requesting City C ouncil consideration to approve the Development Stage Plan and <br />Preliminary Plat for Woods Edge and amend the PUD design guidelines for the development. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />D.R. Horton, Inc. - Minnesota has submitted a land use application for PUD Development <br />Stage/Preliminary Plat review and a text amendment for the “Lino Lakes Town Center Design & <br />Development Guide”. The proposed development is a 112 unit attached townhome project on <br />11.2 acres in the Town Center (Outlots B and C of the Village No. 3). The proposed project is <br />called “Woods Edge”. <br /> <br />The Land Use Applications are for: <br /> <br /> <br />1. PUD Development Stage Plan/Preliminary Plat <br /> <br />2. An ordinance amendment to modify the Town Center Design & Development Guide <br />PUD (Ordinance No. 04-04) <br /> <br />The property is guided Mixed Use and is part of the Town Center, which is planned for a mix of <br />residential, retail, and office uses. The site is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development) and the <br />zoning standards are established by the Town Center Design & Development Guide PUD, which <br />was approved on March 22, 2004. The guide includes a land use plan and this site is the bulk of <br />the planned residential area.
