COUNCIL MINUTES January 14, 2013 DRAFT 91 Council Member O’Donnell indicated that he is not in favor of the resolution. He said that he had 92 indicated his conce rns on the implications of the resolution when it was discussed at the council work 93 session. 94 95 Mayor Reinert commented on court decisions on the impact of the MGDPA and how they wrong ly 96 place elected officials in this position. 97 98 Council Member Roeser anno unced that he has closely reviewed the resolution and he feels it 99 appropriately is very narrow in its scope. He said he also understands that the matter will be hear d by 100 the Minnesota Supreme Court and he sees that Lino Lakes is in the lead with this move and 101 appropriately so. 102 103 The motion was adopted on a voice vote. Council Member O’Donnell recorded as voting “no”. 104 105 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT 106 107 There was no report from the Public Safety Department. 108 109 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT 110 111 There was no rep ort from the Public Services Department. 112 113 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT 114 115 6A) Resolution No. 13 -02, Environmental Board Goals for 2013 – Environmental Coordinator 116 Asleson briefly reviewed the goals established for 2013. The council requested and Mr. Asleson 117 provided additional information on the community garden program. 118 119 Council Member O’Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 13 -02 as presented. Council Member 120 Roeser seconded the motion.
