The city of Hugo took the lead on the matter with their city engineer producing a report that 63 <br />determines that a shared system could make sense. The group would like to seek grant fundin g for 64 <br />further study of the matter. 65 <br /> 66 <br />Council Member O’Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 13 -22 as presented. Council Member 67 <br />Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. 68 <br /> 69 <br />3B) Nonexclusive Gas Franchise to CenterPoint Energ y 70 <br /> i) 2 nd Reading of Ordinance No. 06 -12, granting a nonexclusive gas franchise to Center 71 <br />Point Energy; 72 <br /> ii) Resolution No. 13 -19, summarizing Ordinance No. 06 -12 for publication purposes 73 <br /> 74 <br />Administrator Karlson explained that the ordinance, which has pre viously been approved for first 75 <br />reading, would grant a nonexclusive gas franchise to CenterPoint Energy for 20 years. It includes no 76 <br />franchise fee but allows for that option in the future. He is recommending approval of a second 77 <br />r eading and adoption of the ordinance. 78 <br /> 79 <br />Council Member Roeser moved to waive the full reading of the ordinance. Council Member Rafferty 80 <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. 81 <br /> 82 <br />Council Member O’Donnell moved to approve the 2 nd Reading and adoption of Ordi nance No. 06 -12 83 <br />as presented. Council Member Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried: Yeas, 5; Nays none. 84 <br /> 85 <br />Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 13 -19 as presented. Council Member 86 <br />Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a un animous voice vote. 87 <br /> 88 <br /> 89
