COUNCIL MINUTES February 25, 2013 <br />DRAFT <br />3 <br />PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT 90 <br /> 91 <br />There was no report from the Public Safety Department. 92 <br /> 93 <br />PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT 94 <br /> 95 <br />There was no report from the Public Services Department. 96 <br /> 97 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT 98 <br /> 99 <br />6A) Resolu tion No. 13 -20, Approving Efforts to Seek Special Legislation Authorizing 100 <br />Conveyance of Certain Tax -Forfeited Land from Anoka County to the Lino Lakes Economic 101 <br />Development Authority (EDA) – Economic Development Coordinator Divine explained that the 102 <br />resolut ion would allow staff to seek special legislative action for the conveyance of certain property 103 <br />within the Legacy at Woods area to the Lino Lakes Economic Development Autho rity . There are 104 <br />parcels that are tax forfeit within the development and state law h as regulations regarding its sale. In 105 <br />this case, special legislation would allow all of the proceeds of a sale be returned by the County. The 106 <br />city would then convey certain property to another party for development. 107 <br /> 108 <br />Council Member Roeser moved to appro ve Resolution No. 13 -20 as presented. Council Member 109 <br />O’Donnell seconded the motion.
