Public Hearing: Main Street Shoppes 2nd Addition Preliminary Plat and Site <br />Plan Review <br /> <br />Katie Larsen, City Planner, presented the staff report. The applicant, CM Properties <br />14, LLC, is creating one 1.35 acre parcel for the purpose of constructing a 9,000 sf <br />commercial retail building. The name of the preliminary plat is Main Street Shoppes <br />2nd Addition. <br /> <br />Chair Tralle opened the Public Hearing at 8:50 p.m. <br /> <br />Bruce Miller (applicant), 3460 Washington Drive <br /> Conversations with staff regarding sidewalks <br /> Verify building setbacks <br /> <br />Board member questions <br /> Mr. Evenson asked if tenants are speculated <br />o Mr. Miller confirmed there are speculated tenants <br /> Chair Tralle stated it is cheaper to put in sidewalks now <br /> Chair Tralle commented on Lot 2 <br /> <br />Mr. Lee Perrault, 20362 Fenston Ave, Forest Lake <br /> Owns parcel to the north <br /> Supportive of this project <br /> <br />Mr. Laden made a MOTION to close the Public Hearing regarding Main Street <br />Shoppes 2nd Addition Preliminary Plat and Site Plan Review. Motion was supported <br />by Mr. Evenson. Motion carried 4 – 0. Public hearing closed at 8:58 PM. <br /> <br />Mr. Stimpson made a MOTION to recommend approval Main Street Shoppes 2nd <br />Addition Preliminary Plat and Site Plan Review with staff recommendations.
