He then presented an 61 abbreviated PowerPoint presentation that included information on the following: 62 - Certificate of Achievement for Financing Reporting 63 - Follow up on 2016 Findings (both corrected); 64 - 2017 Audit Process; 65 - Reports Issued by Auditor; 66 - Opinion on Finance Statements; 67 - Report on Internal Controls; 68 - Report on Minnesota Legal Compliance; 69 - Communication to Those Charged with Governance. 70 Mr. Hering noted that the audit process was smooth and there were no disagreements with staff. 71 Overall the audit had great results. 72 Council Member Maher moved to approve the 2017 Audit Report as presented. Council Member 73 Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 74 75 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT 76 3A) Consider Resolution No. 1841, Supporting Councilmember Stoesz's Nomination 77 to League of Minnesota Cities Board — Administrator Karlson explained that Council Member Stoesz 78 has submitted an application to serve on the League of Minnesota Cities Board. A resolution in support 79 of Mr. Stoesz' appointment is before the council. 2
