He then presented an <br />61 abbreviated PowerPoint presentation that included information on the following: <br />62 - Certificate of Achievement for Financing Reporting <br />63 - Follow up on 2016 Findings (both corrected); <br />64 - 2017 Audit Process; <br />65 - Reports Issued by Auditor; <br />66 - Opinion on Finance Statements; <br />67 - Report on Internal Controls; <br />68 - Report on Minnesota Legal Compliance; <br />69 - Communication to Those Charged with Governance. <br />70 Mr. Hering noted that the audit process was smooth and there were no disagreements with staff. <br />71 Overall the audit had great results. <br />72 Council Member Maher moved to approve the 2017 Audit Report as presented. Council Member <br />73 Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />74 <br />75 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />76 3A) Consider Resolution No. 1841, Supporting Councilmember Stoesz's Nomination <br />77 to League of Minnesota Cities Board — Administrator Karlson explained that Council Member Stoesz <br />78 has submitted an application to serve on the League of Minnesota Cities Board. A resolution in support <br />79 of Mr. Stoesz' appointment is before the council. <br />2 <br />
