Consider Second Reading of Ordinance No. 06-18, <br />131 Rezoning Property from R4, Single Family Residential to PUD, Planned Unit Development — <br />132 City Planner Larsen reviewed the staff report briefly. This proposal was reviewed fully at the last <br />133 council meeting. <br />134 <br />135 Council Member Manthey moved to waive the full reading of Ordinance No. 06-18 as presented. <br />136 Council Member Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />137 <br />138 Council Member Stoesz moved to approve the 2nd Reading and passage of Ordinance No. 06-18 as <br />139 presented. Council Member Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried: Yeas, 5; Nays none. <br />140 <br />141 6C) Consider Resolution 18-77, Accepting Quotes and Awarding a Construction Contract, <br />142 2018 Street Maintenance (Reclamite) Project — City Engineer Hankee explained that staff is <br />143 requesting that the council accept the single quote received for this program. <br />144 <br />145 Council Member Stoesz noted that the quote came in below the estimate for the project. He wonders <br />146 if that additional budgeted money could be used to extend the project in the area. Ms. Hankee said <br />147 she would explore the possibility. <br />148 <br />149 Council Member Maher confirmed with staff that the firms that did not offer quotes did so because <br />150 they would not be able to provide the services/product requested. <br />151 <br />152 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 18-77 as presented. Council Member <br />153 Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />154 <br />155 6D) Consider Resolution No. 18-78, Resolution of Support Federal Funding for I-35E and <br />156 County Road J Interchange and the Centerville Road and County Road J Intersection Project — <br />157 City Engineer Hankee reviewed the written staff report recommending that the council approve a <br />158 resolution in support of receiving federal funding to join with Ramsey County in efforts to improve <br />159 this intersection/interchange. <br />160 <br />161 Mayor Reinert remarked that if federal funds were received and a project were approved, there could <br />162 be relief for traffic issues at these specific locations. <br />163 <br />164 Council Member Manthey remarked that improvements in the areas would have a positive impact for <br />165 many Lino Lakes' residents. <br />166 <br />167 Council Member Maher moved to approve Resolution No. 18-77 as presented.
