Council Member <br />137 Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote; Council Member Rafferty abstained <br />138 from voting. <br />139 6D) Consider Resolution 18-1349 Adopting Assessments, 2018 Individual Properties Which <br />140 Requested Connection to City Utilities- City Engineer Hankee noted those properties that would be <br />141 included in this connection project as well as the proposed costs that would be fully assessed to the <br />142 properties requesting the work. <br />143 <br />Council Member Manthey moved to approve <br />Resolution <br />No. 18-134 <br />as presented. Motion carried <br />on a voice <br />vote. <br />145 6E) Consider Resolution No. 18-135, Adopting Assessments, Century Farm North 7th <br />146 Addition — City Engineer Hankee reviewed the request for the council to approve assessments for <br />147 certain fees related to this project. <br />148 <br />Council Member Manthey moved to approve <br />Resolution <br />No. 18-135 <br />as presented. Council Member <br />149 <br />Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />on a voice <br />vote. <br />150 6F) Consider Resolution No. 18-136, Adopting Assessments, Northpointe 7th Addition —City <br />151 Engineer Hankee explained that the resolution provides for adoption of assessments related to this <br />152 project and pursuant to the development agreement terms. She noted the amount of the assessment. <br />153 <br />Council Member Manthey moved to approve <br />Resolution <br />No. <br />18-136 as presented. Motion carried <br />on a voice <br />vote. <br />155 6G) Consider Resolution No. 18-138, Authorizing Preparation of Plans and Specifications, <br />156 2019 Water Tower No. 3 —City Engineer Hankee asked for council consideration for preparation <br />157 work on this project. The City has identified the need for the addition of a water tower and a site has <br />158 been recommended. She noted that Greg Johnson of WSB & Associates was present to answer <br />159 specific questions. <br />160 <br />161 Mayor Reinert noted the cost of $4.5 million and that it would be paid through the City's Trunk Utility <br />162 Fund so there would be no direct tax impact. He has spoken with the City Administrator about the City <br />163 land where this will be located (and where there is additional land) and the goal to put together some <br />164 facilities for recreation there. He is anxious to get a master plan in place for that element and that <br />165 should be considered in conjunction with the construction of the water tower. <br />166 <br />167 Council Member Manthey remarked that the council has been discussing this project and its elements <br />168 for a long time; this action is considered after much discussion and review. <br />169 <br />
