I12.WR:W <br />TEM ATER ESOURCESETLANDS <br />Mitigation Strategies <br />The City will: <br />12.1Delineate wetlands in accordance with the Corps of Engineers Wetlands <br />Delineation Manual andclassify wetlands according to Wetlands of the United <br />States (Circular 39) and Wetlands andDeepwater Habitats of the United States. <br />12.2Follow sequencing process of wetland avoidance, minimization, rectification, and <br />mitigation asoutlined in the Wetland Conservation Act (WCA) if wetlands area <br />altered. <br />12.3Apply for applicable wetland permits to obtain authorization for wetland <br />alterations under WCAand Section 404 prior to project construction if <br />development activities will impact a jurisdictionalwetland. <br />12.4Mitigate areas of wetland impacts according to the requirements of the Wetland <br />Conservation Act. <br />12.5Submit wetland permit applications and replacement plans, as appropriate, to the <br />MinnesotaBoard of Water and Soil Resources, Rice Creek Watershed District, <br />and the City of Lino Lakes. <br />12.6Follow the requirements for wetland alterations delineated by the Rice Creek <br />Watershed District(RCWD). <br />12.7Minimize or avoid totally anyfilling of public waters through careful design. <br />I13.WU <br />TEM ATER SE <br />Mitigation Strategies <br />The City will: <br />13.1Monitor water usage and do not permit new development to proceed if it exceeds <br />the capacity of the water supply and distribution system. <br />13.2Construct the water supply and distribution system in accordance with Minnesota <br />Department of Health standards and with the goals, policies, and <br />recommendations set forth in the city’s Comprehensive Water System Plan. <br />13.3As necessary, amend the city’s Comprehensive Water System Plan and Capital <br />Improvement Plan to be consistent with an future amendments or updates to the <br />3 <br /> <br />
