The donation allows the department to clear <br />69 the bikes from the property room while giving back to the community. The bikes will be donated in <br />70 the name of former Police Chief James Livingston. <br />71 <br />72 Council Member Maher moved to authorize the donation of bicycles as recommended. Council <br />73 Member Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />74 <br />75 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />76 <br />77 5A) Consideration of Resolution No. 19-12, Ordering the Project, Approving Plans and <br />78 Specifications, and Authorizing Advertisement of Bids for Civic Complex Roof Replacement <br />79 Project — Public Services Director DeGardner reviewed his written report. He explained the need for <br />80 roof replacement, the insurance available through the League of Minnesota Cities, the process that <br />81 will be used installation, the proposed bid process and how the non -covered costs will be funded. <br />82 <br />83 Council Member Manthey moved to approve Resolution No. 19-12 as presented. Council Member <br />84 Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />85 <br />86 5B) Consideration of Resolution No. 19-13, Approving Contract with Northland Recreation <br />87 Inc. for Sunrise Park Playground Equipment — Public Services Director DeGardner reviewed his <br />88 written staff report. He noted what would be covered by the proposed contract and the timeline for <br />89 installation of the equipment. He noted that Public Services staff will have a role in the project as <br />90 well. Funding is available in the budget. <br />2 <br />
