COUNCIL MINUTES <br />APPROVED <br />January 14, 2019 <br />121 - Findings of fact that support the issuance of a variance; <br />122 - Planning & Zoning Board has recommended approval. <br />123 Council Member Maher moved to approve Resolution No. 19-02 as presented. Council Member <br />124 Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />125 613) Consider Resolution No. 19-04 Adopt Water Supply Plan — City Engineer Hankee <br />126 reviewed the written staff report: <br />127 - City is required to adopt a water supply plan; <br />128 - Elements included in the plan; <br />129 - Plan is also included in comprehensive plan; <br />130 - The City's plan was submitted to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, <br />131 modifications called for and made and the plan was then approved by the DNR. <br />132 Staff is recommending that the council adopt the plan at this time. <br />133 Mayor Reinert confirmed that the plan would not limit in anyway the City's use of its water supply <br />134 the way it is currently being used. The mayor also asked for an update on the situation with White <br />135 Bear Lake. Community Development Director Grochala said more court information is expected in <br />136 spring of this year; more information has been available through more recent water modeling. <br />137 Council Member Stoesz noted that the plan includes a statement that there is no emergency power <br />138 source for the City's wells. Community Development Director Grochala said his understanding is <br />139 that there is a portable generator that would be used if power was needed. <br />140 <br />141 Council Member Manthey moved to approve Resolution No. 19-04 as presented. Council Member <br />142 Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />143 6C) Consider Resolution No. 19-08 Approving Water Interconnect Agreement with the City <br />144 of Centerville — City Engineer Hankee explained that staff is requesting approval of an agreement <br />145 allowing for a water interconnect on the north side of town in association with the Watermark <br />146 development. She noted that there are existing interconnect agreements with other jurisdictions in <br />147 the area. The agreement has been approved by the City of Centerville. She explained how duties and <br />148 costs are laid out in the agreement. The interconnect costs would actually be paid for by <br />149 development. <br />150 Council Member Maher moved to approve Resolution No. 19-08 as presented. Council Member <br />151 Rafferty seconded the motion.
