CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 19-12 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PROJECT, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS FOR CIVIC COMPLEX ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, Roof Spec, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the Civic Complex Roof Replacement Project and has presented such plans and specifications to the City Council for approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota: Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file at City Hall, are hereby approved. The Public Services Director is directed to advertise for bids, provide construction observation, and close out the project once it is complete. The advertisement for bids shall be published for three weeks, shall specify the work to be done, and shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk, at which time they will be publicly opened at the City Hall by the City Clerk and Public Services Director at 2:00pm on March 6, 2019. The bids will then be tabulated and will be considered by the City Council at 6:30 p.m. on March 11, 2019, in the Council chambers of the City Hall. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for five (5) percent of the amount of such bid. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28th day of January, 2019.
