Consider Resolution No. 18-127, Accepting bids, 93 <br />Awarding a Construction Contract; ii. Consider Resolution No. 18-128, Approving 94 <br />Construction Services Contract with WSB & Associates – City Engineer Hankee reviewed her 95 <br />written report and recommendations. Staff is pleased to be presenting the results of the bid process 96 <br />for this project and recommending acceptance of a bid that includes two alternates; she noted the low 97 <br />bid and its relation to the engineer’s estimate. Staff is also requesting authorization to execute a 98 <br />construction services agreement with WSB & Associates for this project; she reviewed the services 99 <br />covered under the contract. She also noted the proposed project schedule. 100 <br />Council Member Stoesz asked if the project comes with a warranty. Ms. Hankee said there will be a 101 <br />two-year warranty, beginning upon completion of the work. 102 <br /> 103 <br />Council Member Maher moved to approve Resolution No. 18-127 as presented. Council Member 104 <br />Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 105 <br /> 106 <br />Council Member Manthey moved to approve Resolution No. 18-128 as presented. Council Member 107 <br />Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote; Council Member Rafferty abstained. 108 <br />6B) Consider Resolution No. 18-129, Approving Grading and Trunk Utility Agreement, 109 <br />Saddle Club 4th Addition, City Engineer Hankee explained the location of the 4th Addition of the 110 <br />Saddle Club. Staff has reviewed the grading plans and is recommending approval of an agreement 111 <br />covering the work. 112 <br /> 113 <br />Council Member Stoesz moved to approve Resolution No. 18-129 as presented. Motion carried on a voice vote. 115 <br />6C) Public Hearing: Consider 1st Reading of Ordinance No. 15-18, Vacating Drainage Utility 116 <br />Easement at 6499 Lakota Trail - City Engineer Hankee reviewed her written report outlining the 117 <br />request for vacation of certain drainage and utility easements associated with the Love to Grove 118 <br />Project. 119 <br />Mayor Reinert opened the public hearing. 120 <br />Mary McNellis, consultant with Love to Grow On project, noted that she is present to answer 121 <br />questions. 122 <br />There being no one else present wishing to speak, the public hearing was closed. 123 <br /> 124
