EXHIBIT F <br /> <br />Restoration and Management Plan Requirements <br /> <br />The purpose of the Restoration and Management Plan is to ensure the establishment of native <br />vegetation within proposed open space areas and provide for long term vegetative management of <br />those areas. <br /> <br />Phase specific Restoration and Management Plans submitted under Section 7.2 of this agreement shall <br />include the following components and requirements: <br /> <br />Plan Preparation. <br /> <br />1. The Restoration and Management Plan must be prepared by a qualified company that is <br />approved by the City of Lino Lakes in natural area restoration and management. Company shall <br />have prior experience with establishment of native vegetation. <br /> <br />2. The plan shall provide for the establishment of native vegetation for all exposed areas in <br />accordance with the approved Landscaping Plan. The plan shall provide for the seeding, use of <br />potted and/or plugging of native grasses, sedges, rushed (graminoids) and wildflowers (forbs), <br />as well as, woody plantings (shrubs and trees). <br /> <br />Construction methods. Plans shall include the means of construction for establishment of each type of <br />native vegetation proposed, including seeding, plugging, and tree planting. <br /> <br />1. Plan shall provide for review and approval of all native seed mixes or plantings by the City of <br />Lino Lakes, prior to placement. Native seed mixes and/or plantings must identify the source of <br />native propagules. Native seed mixes must include seeds per square foot for each species <br />specified in the native seed mix. Any revisions to the seed specs must be approved by the City <br />of Lino Lakes. <br /> <br />2. Native Seeding Plan shall include detailed specifications for site preparation, including seedbed <br />preparation, weed management, and timing of seeding. Native Planting Plan including <br />perennial rootstock and/or woody rootstock shall include detailed specifications for site <br />preparation and establishment, including watering regimes. <br /> <br />3. The Native Seeding Plan shall provide for Seeding Methods, including site preparation, rates and <br />methods of seeding, mulching, timing of native seeding, weed management, and specifications <br />for watering. <br /> <br />Vegetative Management – Establishment Period (Years 1 -5) <br /> <br />1. Plan should provide for initial 5 year maintenance term until establishment of native vegetative <br />areas. Plan should address activities including watering, mulching, mowing, interseeding, <br />burning, etc necessary to ensure successful establishment. Plan should include provisions for <br />replacement of dead or failed or underperforming material. <br />
