Council Member Rafferty seconded the motion. 130 <br />Motion adopted on a voice vote. 131 <br /> 132 <br />6B) Drainage and Utility Easement Vacation: 133 <br />i. Consider 2nd Reading of Ordinance No. 16-18, Vacating Right-of-Way Along 134 <br />Sandpiper Drive and drainage Utility Easements within Lakes Addition No. 1; 135 <br /> ii. Consider Resolution No. 18-161, Approving Summary Publication of Ordinance No. 136 <br />16-18 - City Engineer Hankee reviewed her written report requesting approval of second reading. 137 <br />She reviewed the background information. 138 <br />Council Member Maher moved to waive the full reading of Ordinance No. 16-18 as presented. 139 <br />Council Member Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 140 <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve the 2nd Reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 16-18 as 141 <br />presented. Motion carried on a voice vote. 144 <br />6C) Consider 1st reading of Ordinance No. 19-18, Rezoning Certain Properties Along West 145 <br />Shadow Lake Drive from R, Rural to R-1X, Single Family Executive Residential and PSP, Public 146 <br />and Semi-Public – City Planner Larsen reviewed a PowerPoint presentation that included information on 147 <br />the following: 148 <br />- Involves rezoning in West Shadow Lake Drive (WSLD) area for possible subdivisions of some 149 <br />properties; 150 <br />- Existing rural zoning was reviewed for parcels under consideration; 151 <br />- Properites that are proposed to be rezoned was reviewed; 152 <br />- Requirements of R-1 and R-1X reviewed; 153 <br />- Findings of fact supporting the rezoning; 154 <br />- Planning and Zoning Board held public hearing and recommended approval. 155 <br /> 156 <br />Council Member Maher moved to approve the 1st Reading of Ordinance No. 19-18, as presented. 157 <br />Council Member Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 158 <br /> 159 <br />6D) Consider Resolution No. 18-165, Approving a Variance for Curb Cut/Driveway Width 160 <br />for 111 Robinson Drive – City Planner Larsen reviewed this variance request from a homeowner 161 <br />whose driveway was installed in excess of the width allowed by the city. She reviewed the findings of 162 <br />fact on the variance request.
