Test Well Design, Bidding, Construction and Data Analysis (Completed by WSB) <br />a) Review existing well logs and design test well. <br />b) Review and determine adjacent wells to monitor during test pumping. <br />c) Prepare and distribute request for quotations. <br />d) Tabulate quotes and make recommendation of award. <br />e) Provide one site visit to observe construction of test well. <br />f) Provide one site visit to observe test pumping of well and verify contractor’s drawdown <br />measurements. <br />g) Perform test pumping analysis with either calculations or a simplified groundwater model. <br />h) Review water quality data (note – Laboratory analysis costs to be paid by City). <br />i) Summarize findings in a memo. <br /> <br />V. SCHEDULE AND ESTIMATED FEES <br />A. Project Schedule <br />We have estimated the time for the project to begin immediately after City authorization. The <br />proposed schedule includes the following milestone dates: <br />Task Dates <br />City Council Authorization to Proceed December 10, 2018 <br />Receive Quotations for Test Well January 7, 2019 <br />Complete Well House Feasibility Study January 11, 2018 <br />Award Construction Contract for Test Well January 14, 2019 <br />Complete Construction and Test Pumping of Test <br />Well <br />February 15, 2019 <br />Complete Test Pumping and Water Quality <br />Analysis and Technical Memorandum <br />March 15, 2019 <br />Present Results to City Council March 25, 2019 <br /> <br />B. Fees <br />Compensation for tasks shall be on an hourly basis, based on the actual hours worked for <br />personnel assigned to the project. We propose to perform these services for the following <br />estimated fees. <br />Task Estimated Fees <br />A. Feasibility Study to Convert Historic Farmhouse to a Well House $11,500 <br />B.
