ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSING OF AND REGULATING DOG <br />KENNELS IN THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES,MINNESOTA <br />The Village Council of Lino Lakes ordains: <br />SECTION 1 <br />The keeping of or more dogs on the same premises, or other- <br />wise on different premises, within the Village of Lino Lakes, whether <br />such dogs are owned by the same person or not, irrespective of the <br />purpose thereof, shall constitute a dog kennel, which shall be <br />subject to an annual license fee for the operation and maintenance <br />thereof. The owner or occupant of the premises on which such dog <br />kennel is located shall be liable for such annual license fee. <br />SECTION 2 <br />When the keeping of the said dogs so constitutes a dog kennel, <br />the dogs shall not be allowed to run at large at any time within the <br />Village of Lino Lakes, either on the public streets or alleys thereof <br />or other public grounds thereof or on private property located therein. <br />SECTION 3 <br />:The owner, keeper, or harborer of a dog kennel shall pay an <br />annual license fee of $j`g _ therefore. Such person shall not <br />be liable for the regular license:_ fees as levied in Section 3 of <br />Village of Lino Lakes Ordinance No. 16�ayd said annual license fee <br />shall be due and payable, before the oL, day of 6,,.44din <br />each year, to theVillage of Lino Lakes, at the oftice of, the Village <br />issue who shall such annual dog kennel license. The fees so <br />paid shall go into the general revenue fund of the Villge. <br />SECTION 4 <br />Only one dog kennel license shall be issued to one location or <br />premises, all parties of which are abutting to each other. <br />SECTION 5 <br />Licenses issued under the terms of this ordinance shil be required <br />from and after and shall expire on the day of <br />next following their issuance. <br />SECTION 6 <br />Dog kennels must be kept in a sanitary and healthful condition, <br />both as to the dogs therein, and the public, at all times, and shall <br />be open to complete inspection by any official of the Village of <br />�.- Lino Lakes, at any time, without prior notice of such inspection. <br />
