GENERAL REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL DISTRICTS <br />c+ . <br />Advertising Signs: <br />Shall be allowed as a permitted use only in neighborhood commer- <br />chiat, regional shopping center, regional service, commercial <br />highway service and general industrial districts according to the <br />requirements set forth in those districts. <br />2. Shall be allowed in agricultural and industrial park districts <br />or any district that is being used as a holding zone for futur€. <br />development, as a special use, if they meet the following con- <br />ditions: <br />a) Must not be within 500 feet of an existing residential struc•-- <br />ure on the same side of the street unless separated by a nat- <br />ural barrier. <br />b) Must not be closer than 500 feet to another advertising st- <br />ructure on the same side of the street separated by a natur- <br />al barrier or non-residential structure. <br />3. Shall only be fabricated of and erected on steel and built to a <br />minimum of 30 pounds per square foot windload factor. <br />4. Shall not be longer than 60 feet nor contain more than two signs <br />per facing. <br />5. Structures shall be limited to not more than one for a lot of <br />200 foot frontage and only one per each additional 200 feet of <br />additional lot frontage, and in no case will such signs be closer <br />than 200 feet to any other advertising sign structure on the same <br />side of the street. <br />6. Shall not be closer than 1200 feet to another such advertising <br />on the same side of an interstate freeway. For the purpose of <br />this Ordinance, a back-to-back or V-type sign shall be considered <br />as one structure. <br />7. May not be erected within 50 feet of an adjacent residential <br />structure on the same side of the street. <br />8. Shall have a minimum square footage requirement of 200 feet, <br />and a maximum square footage restriction of 750 feet. <br />B. All signs other than temporary signs, residential identification nameplate <br />signs and residential area identification signs shall be constructed of, <br />and erected upon steel or steel component structures, unless it can be <br />
