The annual fees for licenses shall be per fee schedule as established by resolution, from time to time, by the Village Council; the fee schedule shall be on file in the office of the Village Clerk -Treasurer and a copy available to anyone desiring same. All licenses shall expire at midnight on December 31, of the year of issuance. Receptacles. - No person shall sell or cause to be sold, place or cause to be placed any gasoline or benzine in quantities of more than one pint in any receptable (other than a tank of the sort authorized by this ordinance or a tank truck) except one of a bright red color, tagged and labelled in large plain letters with the name of the contents, or with the words "Inflammable Liquid," nor sell or place any other liquid in any such receptacle. General Storage. - Except as otherwise provided in this ordinance, inflammable liquids shall be stored outside of buildings, in underground or above ground tanks, except that the storage of such liquids above ground is hereby prohibited within the following limits. Above Ground Tanks. - No person shall construct or maintain any above ground tanks except as hereinafter set forth. a. No tank may be constructed or maintained closer to the line of adjoining property or to any other tank than shown in the following table: Capacity of Tank Distance to Line of Adjoining Property Distance to any other tank 300 Gals. or less 300 - 500 gals. 500 - 1000 gals. 1000 - 10,000 gals. No such tank may be constructed or maintained within four Hundred (400) feet of any depot, school, church, place of detention or other public building or within two hundred (200) feet of any place of human habitation. d. All tanks of more than 1,000 gallons capacity shall have all openings which may contain inflammable vapor provided with a 40 x 40 mesh, non -corrodible wire screen. A safety valve must be provided and manhole covers must be kept closed by weight only.
