ORDINANCE NO. 43 A <br />VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AND ESTABLISHING CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT <br />FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE <br />NO. 43, PASSED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES ON JANUARY 23, <br />1967. <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, <br />DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. All persons employed by the Village of Lino Lakes shall <br />be employed subject to the provisions of this Ordinance and shall <br />receive emoluments, benefits and privileges herein set forth. <br />Section 2. The Council shall classify all positions of Village <br />employment and shall specify those which are supervisory, salaried <br />or hourly, such classification shall be made by council resolution. <br />Section 3. Definitions. <br />(A) "Permanent Full -Time Employee" shall mean an employee <br />who has completed his probationary period and who serves <br />in a position which is provided for in the budget on a <br />permanent basis. <br />(B) "Permanent Part -Time Employee" shall mean an employee who <br />has successfully completed the required probationary period <br />and is employed on a schedule of less than 40 hours per <br />week. <br />(C) "Temporary Employee" shall mean an employee who has not <br />acquired the status of a permanent full-time employee or <br />a permanent part-time employee, and shall include any per- <br />son who is engaged inpart-time, seasonal or casual employ- <br />ment and who is compensated on an hourly/monthly basis. <br />(D) "Benefits" shall mean privileges granted to employees in- <br />cluding vacation leave, sick leave, holiday leave, military <br />leave and any other benefits approved by the Council. <br />(E) "Fiscal Year" shall be January 1 through December 31 <br />inclusive. <br />-225- <br />
