Exterior Wall Construction— <br /> (A) All Multiple-Family units shall be designed and constructed to <br /> have the equivalent of a front on each exterior surface. <br /> (B) All accessory or ancillary buildings including garages, carports , <br /> shall be designed and constructed to have substantially the same <br /> exterior surface as the principal use building. <br /> Acoustical Controls-In all multiple-family units the following standards <br /> of acoustical control shall apply: <br /> (A) All plumbing serving each unit shall be separated from other <br /> units by a room, closet, corridor or sound barrier. <br /> (B) Party partitions and floor systems shall be of a type sufficient <br /> to accomplish a loss in sound transmission of not less than 50 <br /> decibels determined by averaging the loss at frequencies of 125, <br /> 250, 350, 500, 700, 1000, 2000 and 4000 cycles. Corridor part- <br /> itions shall be capable of accomplishing a loss in sound trans- <br /> missions of not less than 45 decibels similarly determined. <br /> Disposal of Refuse and Garbage-All refuse, rubbish and garbage con- <br /> tainers shall be placed at the rear of the premises. In no event shall <br /> such containers be placed next to the street or curb, nor shall they be <br /> placed so as to interfere with use of adjoining property or cause a <br /> nuisance or annoyance to adjoining property occupants. Such containers <br /> shall be covered and contained so as to be inaccessible to insects, <br /> vermin or animals and shall be screened so as not to be visible from <br /> eye-level height. <br /> Indoor Storage Space-A minimum of one hundred twenty (120) cubic feet <br /> of miscellaneous storage space be made available for each dwelling <br /> unit within the same building as such dwelling unit is located. Such <br /> storage shall be in addition to the normal closet space that is in the <br /> dwelling unit; however it may be in the dwelling unit itself is so <br /> identified. <br /> Certificate of Occupancy-Before any multiple dwelling building may be <br /> occupied by tenants the Owner or contractor shall first obtain from the <br /> Building Inspector of the Village a Certificate of Occupancy; and <br /> such document shall certify that all requirements, specifications, special <br /> treatments, screening, landscaping or any other pre-requisite ordered <br /> or required by the Planning Commission and/or the Council have been <br /> fully provided or complied with and that all work is complete. Any un- <br /> authorized deviation or omission from Village approved plans shall <br /> prevent the issuance of such certificate and thereby prevent the occupancy <br /> of the structure or structures by any tenants or residents. <br /> Sanitary Sewer Required-No multiple dwelling shall be built unless <br /> sanitary sewer is available and the determination of availability shall <br /> be made by the Village Engineer pursuant to demand requirement <br /> available. This requirement may be waived if permission is granted <br /> from the State of Minnesota and a Special Use Permit is issued by the <br /> Village Council. <br /> -25- <br />
