3 <br />ALL ELECTRIC RESIDENTIAL SERVICE <br />Availability Available to any residential customer in a single private residence <br />for domestic purposes only where 120/240 volt single phase electric service is <br />used through one meter and customer has in regular use either an Approved Water <br />Heating Installation or an Approved Space Heating Installation or both. <br />Rate First 50 kilowatt-hours per month @ 5.60 per kwh <br />Next 50 If ft @ 3.3 f' <br />Next 200 II It <br />" @ 2.35 " <br />Next 700 It <br />If <br />ft @ 1.65 It <br />Next 1 000 II It " @ 1.45 " <br />Excess @ 1.35 <br />Fuel Clause Bills subject to the adjustment provided for in Fuel Clause <br />Rider No. 1. <br />Monthly Minimum Charge $2.00 <br />Underground Residential Distribution For service from an Underground Residential <br />Distribution system in which all underground facilities are installed, owned <br />and maintained by Company, a charge of $2.00 will be added to the monthly bill <br />computed above for a period of not to exceed 30 years from date of installation. <br />In lieu of the monthly charge, a nonrefundable contribution of $220 may be made <br />at any time. Such contribution for any residence served hereunder shall apply <br />to that residence only and shall relieve the contributor and any successor cus- <br />tomer at that residence of any obligation to pay a monthly charge thereafter. <br />Such monthly charge or contribution shall be in addition to any payments which <br />may be required under Section 4 of Company's Rules for Application of Residential <br />Service Rates. <br />Rules for Application of All Electric Residential Service Rate <br />1. The specifications for an Approved Water Heating Installation under this <br />rate are as follows: <br />a. The water heater shall be equipped with no more than two heating <br />elements. Each heating element shall be noninductive, thermostatically <br />operated and designed for 240 volts. <br />b. For a water heater equipped with two heating elements: <br />The tank size shall be not less than 40 gallons; the rating of either <br />heating element shall not exceed 5500 watts; and, if the total of the <br />ratings of the two elements exceeds 5500 watts, the elements shall be <br />so interlocked that they cannot operate simultaneously. <br />(Continued on following sheet) <br />A <br />
