29 <br />ALL ELECTRIC FARM SERVICE <br />Availability Available to any farm customer for electric lighting, power, and <br />heating purposes where 120/240 volt single phase electric service is used <br />through one meter and customer has in regular use either an Approved Water <br />Heating Installation or an Approved Space Heating Installation or both. <br />Rate First 100 kilowatt-hours per month @ 6.6c per kwh <br />Next 150 " " " " @ 2.6 " " <br />Next 750 " " " " @ 2.0 " " <br />Next 2 000 " " " " @ 1.7 I' " <br />Excess " II " " @ 1.6 II II <br />Fuel Clause Bills subject to the adjustment provided for in Fuel Clause <br />Rider No. 1. <br />Monthly Minimum Charge $2.00 for 10 kva or less of required transformer capacity <br />plus $.50 for each kva in excess of 10 kva. <br />Rules for Application of All Electric Farm Service Rate <br />1. Thespecifications for an Approved Water Heating Installation under this <br />rate are as follows: <br />a. The water heater shall be equipped with no more than two heating <br />elements. Each heating element shall be noninductive, thermostatically <br />operated and designed for 240 volts. <br />b. For a water heater equipped with two heating elements: <br />The tank size shall be not less than 40 gallons; the rating of either <br />heating element shall not exceed 5500 watts; and, if the total of the <br />ratings of the two elements exceeds 5500 watts, the elements shall be <br />so interlocked that they cannot operate simultaneously. <br />c. For a water heater equipped with one heating element: <br />The tank size and the rating of the heating element for each tank size <br />shall be as follows: <br />Tank Size Heating Element <br />in Gallons Rating in Watts <br />30 3 500 <br />50 5 500 <br />80 5 500 <br />d.
