ORDINANCE NO. 68 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSING AND BONDING OF INDIVIDUALS, <br />FIRMS, CORPORATIONS, CONTRACTORS AND SUB -CONTRACTORS DOING OR <br />PERFORMING WORK WITHIN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES AND PROVIDING <br />PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, ordains: <br />SECTION 1. That it is deemed in the interest of the public and <br />the residents of the City of Lino Lakes that any person, firm or <br />corporation who engages in the business of building, construction <br />or related work, within the City of Lino Lakes, as defined at <br />Section 4 of this Ordinance, shall first secure a license therefor <br />as provided herein. This Ordinance shall not apply to persons, <br />firms or corporations who produce a product within the City of <br />Lino Lakes for use outside of the City of Lino Lakes. <br />SECTION 2. Application for said license shall be made to the City <br />Clerk -Treasurer and such license shall be granted upon filing with <br />the City Clerk -Treasurer a bond in the amount of $5,000.00 conditioned <br />upon compliance with the provisions of City Ordinances and the filing <br />with the City Clerk -Treasurer of certificates evidencing the holding <br />of Public Liability Insurance in the limits of $100,000.00 per person, <br />$300,000.00 per accident or bodily injury and $50,000.00 for property <br />damages and certificates of Worker's Compensation Insurance as <br />required by law. Such insurance policies shall contain provisions <br />that same may not be cancelled without 10 days prior written notice <br />thereof being mailed to the City of Lino Lakes. <br />
