SECTION 3. The license fee shall be $25.00 annually. Each license <br />shall expire on the 1st day of January after the same is issued and <br />shall not be prorated. The fee herein established may be changed, <br />from time to time, by the City Council, by resolution, a copy of <br />which shall be kept on file and open for inspection at regular <br />business hours in the office of the City Clerk -Treasurer. <br />SECTION 4. Licenses shall be obtained by every person engaged in <br />the following businesses or work in accordance with the applicable <br />ordinances of the City of Lino Lakes: <br />a. General contractors, including those involved in erection <br />alteration or repair of structures. <br />b. Masonry, cement work, cement block work, block laying or <br />brick work. <br />c. Heating and ventilating. <br />d. Roofing. <br />e. Plastering, stucco work and sheet rock taping. <br />f. Excavations, including excavations for footings, basements <br />and grading of lots. <br />Wrecking of structures. <br />g• <br />h. All fences. <br />i. Asphalt work. <br />Nothing herein shall be construed as preventing any such qualified <br />licensee from performing the work by an employee under his supervision <br />and control, nor a property owner from performing his own work <br />providing all provisions of the Uniform Building Code are adhered to. <br />A license granted to a general contractor shall include the right <br />to perform all of the work included in his general contract.
