license shall include any or all persons performing the work which <br />is classified and listed in Section 4 above, provided that each <br />person performing such work is in the regular employ of such general <br />contractor and qualified as required under state law and the provisions <br />of this Ordinance to perform such work. The general contractor shall <br />be responsible for the quality and completeness of all of the work <br />so performed. <br />SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall not be construed to effect the <br />responsibility or liability for any party owning, operating or <br />installing the above described work for damages to persons or <br />property caused by any defect therein nor shall the City of Lino <br />Lakes be held as assuming any such liability by reason of the <br />licensing of persons, firms, or corporations engaged in such work. <br />SECTION 6. The City Council may issue a variance hereto, waiving <br />the requirements of this Ordinance or any portions thereof in the <br />event of a declared emergency and for such period of time as deemed <br />by the Council to be necessary. <br />SECTION 7. Any license issued hereunder may be revoked for just <br />cause after a public hearing with four days prior written notice <br />to the licensee. <br />SECTION 8. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any <br />provision of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and <br />upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more <br />than $500.00 or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days or both. <br />
