ORDINANCE NO. 31-C CITY OF LINO LAKES COUNTY OF ANOKA STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 31, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 31-A, OF THE THEN VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, ESTABLISHING INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE FEES, WHICH ORDINANCE NO. 31 WAS PASSED BY THE COUNCIL ON MARCH 25, 1963, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 31-A, PASSED BY THE THEN VILLAGE COUNCIL ON JUNE 12, 1967. The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, does ordain: SECTION 1. SUBDIVISION 3, of SECTION 4, LICENSE FEES of Ordinance No. 31, passed by the then Village Council on March 25, 1963, as amended by Ordinance No. 31-A, passed by the then Village Council on June 12, 1967, is hereby amended so that the same shall hereafter be as follows: SUBDIVISION 3. The annual fee for an "on sale" license shall be $2,500.00 for the year ending June 30, 1980, and for the year ending on June 30 of each year thereafter. Such fee shall be paid as follows: The first one-half thereof shall be paid before June 30 of each such year, and the second one-half thereof shall be paid before December 31, of each such year, and such second one- half shall bear interest, payable to the City of Lino Lakes, at the rate of 6% per annum, payable from and after June 30 of the year in which same is due and until the date of payment, and such interest shall be paid with said second one-half installment. In the event that such second one-half is not so paid by December 31, in any given year, then the licensee shall not operate under such license until such second one-half installment and such interest are so paid, and the police department of Lino Lakes shall impound such license until such sums are so paid. In addition, if such second one-half install- ment and interest are not so paid by December 31, in any given year, then the City may obtain such money from the bonding company so issuing the bond to any such licensee which bond is required herein by Subdivision 2 of SECTION 3, APPLICATION FOR LICENSE, and such bond shall comply with this provision by the issuance thereof. The annual fee for an "off sale" license shall be $100.00. The annual fee for a special club license shall be $100.00. SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 31-A, passed by the then Village Council on June 12, 1967, is hereby repealed.
