1ci o ORDINANCE No. 20A CITY OF LINO LAKES COUNTY OF ANOKA STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 20, OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, PASSED BY THE THEN VILLAGE COUNCIL ON AUGUST 26, 1957, AND ESTA- BLISHING RULES GOVERNING CONDUCT AND PROCEDURE OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA. The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, ordains: I. Ordinance No. 20, passed by the then Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, on August 26, 1957, is hereby amended as follows: 1. Rule 1, of said Ordinance No. 20, shall be as follows: RULE 1. The City Council shall have regular sessions on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 7:30 o'clock P.M., and, if such Monday shall fall on a holiday shall have its regular session the next following day, and adjourned and special sessions at any other time the council may deem proper. 2. Rule 4, of said Ordinance No. 20, shall be as follows: At the hour appointed for meeting, the members shall be called to order by the mayor, and in his absence by the acting mayor, and in the absence of both, by the clerk -treasurer. The clerk - treasurer shall call the roll, note the absentees and announce whether a quorum be present. In the absence of the clerk -treasurer the mayor shall appoint a secretary pro tem. Upon the appearnace of a quorum the council shall proceed to business which shall be con- ducted in the following order: 1. Call to order. 2. Roll Call. 3- Approvai of the minutes of the last meeting, which if no corrections be offered, shall stand approved. 4. Presentations of petitions, memorials, and demon- strations. 5. Open discussion from audience in attendance. 6. Reports of standing committees. 7. Reports of special committees. 8. Reports of officials.
