1ci o <br />ORDINANCE No. 20A <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 20, OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, <br />PASSED BY THE THEN VILLAGE COUNCIL ON AUGUST 26, 1957, AND ESTA- <br />BLISHING RULES GOVERNING CONDUCT AND PROCEDURE OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />AND BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, <br />MINNESOTA. <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, ordains: <br />I. <br />Ordinance No. 20, passed by the then Village Council of <br />the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, on August 26, <br />1957, is hereby amended as follows: <br />1. Rule 1, of said Ordinance No. 20, shall be as follows: <br />RULE 1. The City Council shall have regular sessions on <br />the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 7:30 o'clock P.M., and, <br />if such Monday shall fall on a holiday shall have its regular <br />session the next following day, and adjourned and special sessions <br />at any other time the council may deem proper. <br />2. Rule 4, of said Ordinance No. 20, shall be as follows: <br />At the hour appointed for meeting, the members shall be <br />called to order by the mayor, and in his absence by the acting mayor, <br />and in the absence of both, by the clerk -treasurer. The clerk - <br />treasurer shall call the roll, note the absentees and announce <br />whether a quorum be present. In the absence of the clerk -treasurer <br />the mayor shall appoint a secretary pro tem. Upon the appearnace of <br />a quorum the council shall proceed to business which shall be con- <br />ducted in the following order: <br />1. Call to order. <br />2. Roll Call. <br />3- Approvai of the minutes of the last meeting, which <br />if no corrections be offered, shall stand approved. <br />4. Presentations of petitions, memorials, and demon- <br />strations. <br />5. Open discussion from audience in attendance. <br />6. Reports of standing committees. <br />7. Reports of special committees. <br />8. Reports of officials. <br />
