COUNCIL MINUTES <br />March 11, 2019 <br />APPROVED <br />84 <br />85 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />86 <br />87 There was no report from the Public Services Department. <br />88 <br />89 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />90 <br />91 6A) Consider Resolution No. 19-30, Approving Joint Powers Agreement with Hugo, East <br />92 Cedar Street & Elmcrest Avenue Improvement Project - City Engineer Hankee reviewed the <br />93 request to approve a joint powers agreement that governs the Cedar Street and Elmcrest Avenue <br />94 Improvement Project. She reviewed the estimated project costs and the City's portion. The City <br />95 Attorney has reviewed the agreement. If the agreement is approved, it will be forwarded to the City <br />96 of Hugo for their concurrence. <br />97 <br />98 Mayor Reinert commented that this cooperative effort with another city will address some road issues. <br />99 He is comfortable that this is a fair situation for the City and he expects the residents will be pleased <br />100 with the result. <br />101 <br />102 Council Member Stoesz moved to approve Resolution No. 19-30 as presented. Council Member <br />103 Maher seconded the motion.
