Mayor Reinert will be proposing some changes. He <br />21 would like those sent to all council members. <br />22 <br />23 Item 313 — Ordinance Amending Chapter 205 (City Administrator Position) - <br />24 Administrator Karlson explained that the changes will: a) clarify that the Public Safety <br />25 Director reports to the City Administrator; and b) authorize administrative hire of certain <br />26 temporary positions, when they are budgeted. <br />27 <br />28 Item 3C — Ordinance Amending Chapter 207 (Personnel Policy) - Administrator Karlson <br />29 explained that the ordinance removes some obsolete language relative to human resource <br />30 functions. <br />31 <br />32 Item 5A — Civic Center Roof Replacement Project - Justin Williams, Utilities Supervisor, <br />33 explained that the resolution requests that the bid and construction contract be awarded <br />34 for the Civic Center Roof Replacement Project. He reviewed the bid results. One goal is <br />35 to get a better seal between the flat and the sloped roofs. The council asked if staff is <br />36 familiar with the company that is proposed; staff will do more research on that matter. <br />37 <br />38 Item 513 — Arena Acres Park Project - Justin Williams, Utilities Supervisor, explained that <br />39 the resolution would award a contract for the Arena Acres Park Project (tennis and trail <br />40 improvements). <br />41 <br />42 Item SC —Well No. 1, Rehabilitation Project —City Engineer Hankee reviewed the <br />43 written staff report, requesting authorization to contract with WSB & Associates to <br />44 prepare plans and specifications for the project. <br />45 <br />1 <br />
