CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-35 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT <br />FOR CIVIC COMPLEX ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, The City Council approved Resolution No.19-12, Ordering the Project, Approving <br />Plans and Specifications, and Authorizing Advertisement of Bids for Civic Complex Roof <br />Replacement Project at the January 28, 2019 City Council meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, Bids were received and opened on March 6, 2019 as follows: <br />CONTRACTOR <br />BASE BID <br />ADDITION #1 <br />TOTAL QUOTE <br />Palmer West Construction <br />$698,000.00 <br />$244,950.00 <br />$942,950.00 <br />Berwald Roofing <br />$686,800.00 <br />$288,000.00 <br />$974,800.00 <br />Central Roofing Company <br />$817,659.00 <br />$222,200.00 <br />$1,039,850.00 <br />WHEREAS, The lowest total bid was submitted by Palmer West Construction of Rogers, <br />Minnesota, in the amount of $942,950.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that the <br />Public Services Director is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Palmer West <br />Construction in the amount of $942,950.00, in the name of the City of Lino Lakes, for the Civic <br />Complex Roof Replacement Project. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25`h day of March, 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Maher, RAfferty, Manthey, Stoesz, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />-.IuTaiine Bartell, City Clerk- <br />
