Consider <br />148 Resolution No. 19-57, Accepting Century Farm North, Stormwater Reuse Study Grant — <br />149 Community Development Director Grochala reviewed the written staff report requesting council <br />150 authorization to enter into two grant agreements with the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD). <br />151 The City is proposing to utilize the grant funds to reduce water use for: a) irrigation (city owned <br />152 facilities and three townhomes developments) through installation of controller replacement; and b) <br />153 conduct a feasibility study for the Century Farms North development exploring the use of stormwater <br />154 to offset irrigation demand. He explained that these would be assistance grant so a City contribution <br />155 is required and would be funded in both cases from the City's water utility. <br />156 <br />i57 Council Member Stoesz noted that, under teens outlined in Resolution No. 19-57, the City is required <br />158 to pick up costs for the project past a certain level. Mr. Grochala explained that the grant agreement <br />159 provided for costing sharing of 50% for each party. <br />160 <br />I61 Council Member Maher moved to approve Resolution No. 19-56 as presented.
