(4) The minimum lot size and width requirements established in this <br />Ordinance shall be computed excluding all roadway and public <br />with the following exceptions: 5- and 10-acre <br />lots in the Rural and Expansion Residential districts may include <br />roadway (to the centerline of a roadway) a s in <br />calculating such requirements. U ;".- ` �� L„, <br />Subd. 6. Accessory Buildings and Structures. <br />(1) Types of Accessory Buildings. Storage or tool sheds; detached <br />garage; detached rural storage building; detached domesticated <br />farm animal building; agricultural farm building. Said accessory <br />buildings are defined as follows: <br />(A) Storage or Tool Shed. A one-story accessory building of less <br />than one hundred twenty (120) square feet gross area with a <br />maximum roof height of ten (10) feet. <br />(B) Detached Garage. A one-story accessory building used or <br />intended for the storage of motor driven passenger vehicles <br />with a maximum gross area of seven hundred sixty (760) <br />square feet. Access doors or other openings shall not <br />exceed ten (10) feet in height. <br />(C) Detached Rural Storage Building. A one-story accessory <br />building used or intended for the storage of hobby tools, <br />garden equipment, workshop equipment, boats, snowmobiles, <br />etc. The gross area of said building shall not exceed one <br />thousand (1,000) square feet in gross area on a parcel <br />between two and one-half (2-1/2) and ten (10) acres and not <br />more than one thousand five hundred (1,500) square feet in <br />gross area on a parcel greater than ten (10) acres. <br />(D) Detached Domesticated Farm Animal Building. A one-story <br />accessory building used or intended for the shelter of <br />domestic farm animals and/or related feed or other farm <br />animal supportive materials. Said building shall require a <br />Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Feedlot Permit, and <br />shall not exceed one thousand (1,000) square feet in gross <br />area on a parcel of between two and one-half (2-1/2) and ten <br />(10) acres. <br />(E) <br />Agricultural Farm Building. An accessory building used or <br />intended for use on an active commercial food producing <br />farm operation of more than ten (10) acres. A Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency Permit may be required. <br />(2) One storage or tool shed as defined in this section may be placed .� <br />on any lot. <br />IMMO <br />(3) No accessory building or use shall be constructed or developed on <br />a lot prior to the time of construction of the principal building to <br />which it is accessory. <br />
