MONO <br />Subd. 3. "AgP" Agriculture Preservation District. <br />(1) <br />Purpose. This district is intended to provide for those areas of <br />Lino Lakes where it is necessary and desirable, because of the <br />high quality of the soils, availability of water, and/or highly <br />productive agricultural capability, and where consistent with the <br />city's plans for urbanization, to preserve, promote, maintain, and <br />enhance the use of the land for agricultural purposes and to <br />protect such land from encroachment by non-agricultural uses, <br />structures or activities. <br />(2) Lot and Yard Requirements and Structure Spacings. <br />(A) Minimum lot size: 10 acres <br />(B) Minimum lot width: 330 feet <br />(C) Setbacks: <br />(i) <br />) <br />Front yard setback: 30 feet <br />Rear yard setback: 30 feet <br />(iii) Side yard setback: 10 feet <br />(D) Structures spacing: Non -farm uses shall be separated at <br />least 500 feet from the nearest farm building. <br />(3) Maximum Density: One unit per quarter quarter (40 acres) <br />(4) Permitted Uses. In the Agriculture Preservation District, no <br />building or land shall be used or no building erected, converted or <br />structurally altered unless otherwise provided herein except for <br />one or more of the following uses. Also, all appropriate regula- <br />tions and standards in Section 1005.05 Subd. 4 (Site and Building <br />Plan Review) and Subd. 6 (Certificate of Occupancy) must be <br />satisfied. <br />(A) Commercial agriculture and horticulture <br />(B) Farm buildings <br />(C) Farm drainage and irrigation systems <br />(D) Forestry <br />(E) Single-family dwelling at a rate of one per farm <br />(F) One non -farm dwelling per each quarter quarter section not <br />already containing a farm or non -farm dwelling provided: <br />(i) The dwelling unit shall be located on a separately <br />owned parcel of at least 10 acres in size and must be <br />the only dwelling unit on that quarter quarter. <br />
