Consider Resolution No. 19-65, Authorizing
Acquisition of Real Property by Eminent Domain- Community Development Director Grochala
reported on recommended actions related to this drainage project. Community Development Director Grochala
confirmed that this action will give the City a date and time with which they can move forward with
the project but discussions will continue and can continue even further. Mayor Reinert remarked that
both property owners involved want to sell and the City wants to buy so that is hopeful.

Council Member Stoesz said he is opposed to eminent domain; will there be a final yes/no for the
council?
