September 14, 1978 <br />- Page Three <br />McLean asked if this was for a specific purpose.. The matter of the use <br />of these special funds was discussed. Mayor Karth said his understanding <br />was that 90% would be spent for capital outlay and 10% for maintenance. <br />Mr. McLean said he was concerned that the fund not be depleted. Mr. <br />Zelinka felt there was no danger of this, that much is not being budgeted. <br />It was felt that perhaps the lift station would be taken over before the <br />first of the year, thus reducing the salaries in the Utility budget. <br />It was also noted that the cost of meter purchase should be put in the <br />'materials for resale' portion of the budget. <br />Mayor Karth said the cost of paying off that portion of the bond issue <br />attributable to the lift station will be assumed by the MWCC. <br />The budget meeting was adjourned at 11:20 P.M. <br />
