With the recent bids coming in much higher, we have postponed this project <br />until 2020. The draft 2020 Utilities Department budget includes the following: <br /> <br />Well House #1 Improvements $625,000 <br />GMC Sierra 2500 (Replaces #502) $55,000 <br />Vacjet Trailer Mounted Jetter $110,000 <br />Trailer Mounted Message Board $17,000 <br /> <br />Rather than spending $0 in 2019 and $790,000 in 2020, perhaps we should consider replacing <br />#502 ($55,000) and purchase the Jetter ($110,000) in 2019 to more closely balance the capital <br />expenditures. <br /> <br />Let’s plan on bringing this idea up with the City Council during the July 29 budget meeting. <br />120
