CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-72 <br />Approving Applications for a Temporary On -Sale Liquor License for <br />The Tavern on Main for the 9th Annual Family Corn Roast <br />WHEREAS, The Tavern on Main has made application for a temporary on -sale liquor license <br />for the City's 9th Annual Family Corn Roast held at Sunrise Park on Thursday, July 25, 2019; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, The Taverns on Main wishes to serve 3.2 beverages in Sunrise Park during the 9th <br />Annual Family Corn Roast. <br />WHEREAS, City Ordinance 04-18 allows the City Council to approve a Resolution allowing <br />3.2 Malt Beverage to be consumed in a public park or public grounds. <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has indicated that they hold a State Caterer's Permit that allows them <br />to serve alcohol off their premises as well as a full on -sale liquor license; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has indicated that all patrons or members attending the event will <br />receive a proper identification check and wrist bands to ensure no underage alcohol service will <br />occur; and <br />WHEREAS, the permit has been approved by the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department and the <br />City Clerk's office; and <br />WHEREAS, proof of general liability and liquor liability insurance has been submitted by the <br />applicant; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br />That the City Council hereby approves a Temporary On -Sale Intoxicating /3.2 Malt Beverage <br />license for The Tavern on Main. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24th day of June, 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Maher, Rafferty, Manthey, Stoesz, Reinert <br />The following voter against sahie: <br />none <br />Jeff ReinQf t, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />e Bartell, City Clerk <br />
