STAFF ORIGINATOR: <br />MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />VOTE REQUIRED: <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 1D <br />Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, Deputy City Clerk <br />June 24, 2019 <br />Resolution No. 19-72, Approving an Application for a <br />Temporary On -Sale Liquor License for The Tavern on <br />Main for the 9th Annual Family Corn Roast <br />3/5 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The City of Lino Lakes is hosting its 9th Annual Family Corn Roast Festival on Thursday, July <br />25, 2019. <br />BACKGROUND <br />As part of the festival, On -Sale Intoxicating/3.2 Malt Beverage alcohol will be served. <br />A Temporary On -Sale Intoxicating/3.2 Percent Malt Beverage License may be issued on Parks <br />or Public Grounds if approved by the City Council under specific conditions. City staff has <br />verified that The Tavern on Main is eligible under local ordinance for a temporary license. <br />An application and the certificate of liability Insurance have been submitted to cover the above <br />event and is filed in the office of the City Clerk. <br />The Public Safety Department has reviewed the application and has signed off on the permit <br />with the understanding that the applicants will adhere to City requirements on location, service, <br />etc. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approval of Resolution No. 19-72, Approving an Application for a Temporary On -Sale <br />Intoxicating /3.2 Malt Beverage Application for the 9th Annual Family Corn Roast. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Resolution 19-72 <br />
