CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION APPROVED 129 Director Cotton suggested that internal documents have suggested a savings to the utility 130 fund of $15,000 per year. Director DeGardner said if the council would like to delay, this 131 isn't an urgent situation. 132 133 Council Member Rafferty asked if the water main work underway is related in any way to 134 this equipment and Mr. DeGardner said no. 135 136 Council Member Stoesz asked if contractor installed culverts become the maintenance 137 responsibility of the City and Mr. DeGardner said yes, as part of the City's Surface Water 138 Management Program. 139 140 Mayor Reinert expressed his support for the purchase of the jetter, noting the good 141 information he's heard. His question is more on the GMC Sierra. Director DeGardner 142 explained that both of these proposed purchases would be funded from the Water and 143 Sewer Fund, not fleet capital. Mr. DeGardner said staff has provided information in the 144 written report on the need for this vehicle. Council Member Rafferty asked how many 145 other 250s and 350s are in City service (Director Gardner will get that information 146 together). 147 148 The council will delay discussion of the matter to the next budget meeting.1 149 150 Item 6A — Change Order for Pheasant Hills Circle Project — Public Services Director 151 DeGardner reviewed the changes that have occurred within the project. The cost of the 152 changes was noted and he explained that it would be funded through the Water Fund. He 153 updated the council on the project. He added that they intend to reAelevise the lines after 154 the work is complete and to share that video with the residents. 155 156 Item 313, Conditional Offer to Sarah Cotton — Administration Karlson reviewed his 157 written report. Staff and council are expressing interest in seeing Ms. Cotton become the 158 next City Administrator when that position is open. 159 160 7.
