Enivornmental Board <br />July 31, 2019 <br />Page 5 <br />DRAFT MINUTES <br />C. Environmental Board Member Duties <br /> <br />Mr. Asleson wanted the Environmental Board members to look over the duties and <br />goals of the board and lets stay within guidelines of this list <br /> <br />Mr Asleson will bring the slide presentation of what was presented to the City <br />Council – part of the Resourse Management plan which includes the wetland <br />management corridor. <br /> <br />It was discuss about #4 – to add organic and recycling information to newsletter, <br />quad, and website <br /> <br />Ms. Andrzejewski suggested a poster or visual thing that will get peoples attention <br /> <br />Mr. Flower remarked doing a visual one page insert in the water bill of 5 things that <br />you can do from a recycling prospective, 5 things you can do from an organics <br />prospective and 5 things you can do to conserve energy in your homes. <br /> <br />Mr. Asleson mentioned that there is a very good video on ground water that was put <br />out by the Anoka County Conservation District that could be put on the city’s <br />website. <br /> <br />Ms. Andrzejewski wanted to know what percent of residents are on city water. <br /> <br />D. Wollans Park <br /> <br />Mr. Alseson wanted to let everyone know that the city did get the final wetland bank <br />credits on Wollans Park. <br /> <br />Mr. Asleson would like to see a wood chip trail in the park <br /> <br />Mr. Asleson suggested on doing a pre-meeting in August at Wollans Park. <br /> <br />9. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Ms. Andrzejewski MOTION to adjourn the meeting at 8:02 p.m. Motion supported by <br />Ms. Kaufenberg.
